What do you call a sex toy? Hot Toys’ latest Deadpool & Wolverine figures feature a realistic silicone torso and arms, realistically sculpted to look like Hugh Jackman after months of rigorous movie training. Ironically, the collector’s company calls the figure “Wolverine (Jacket Version)” and while it does come with a jacket, it’s unlikely anyone will be displaying it in one.
Studio-mandated shirtlessness
Spoiler alert: this comes from a scene in the film where Logan loses his shirt and is handed a jacket that belongs to another character. The jacket is a boring blue and orange color, and Logan’s torso is ripped, hairy, and bloody. It’s the perfect triple threat for Deadpool excitement.
According to the official description, “It features a realistic body design with a battle-damaged head sculpt, separate rotating eyeballs, silicone torso and arms, an internal metal skeleton for an extended range of motion, seamless neck and elbow design for a smooth look, beautifully applied battle damage and distressing, weapons and accessories including a finely tailored jacket, sword, battle-scarred Wolverine helmet, multiple interchangeable hands for dynamic poses, and a figure base.” Look forward to adding more accessories. [sic] New Wolverine movie coming soon!”
Even if you watch the scene in question, you’ll have no idea what the secret accessory is. But you can’t beat a rubbery, realistic chest, that’s for sure. The price of the jacketed Wolverine figure has not yet been revealed, but we expect it to be around $300. Installment payments are also available at any time.
Take a look at the images below and you might find the closest thing to a half-naked Hugh Jackman in your home. Or, to put it mildly, a dude in a boring jacket. (Of course, we wouldn’t do that.) Deadpool would never dare show so much (scarred) skin.
