CropKing Inc., headquartered in Lodi, Ohio, is pleased to announce a grower workshop to be held August 7-8 at Better Day Farms in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Over the two-day course, the CropKing team will instruct participants in the ins and outs of hydroponic growing. The workshop will focus on NFT cultivation, the system used at Better Day Farms, and will include information on different types of growing media, pest management, creating a business plan, building for success, and more. Workshop participants will be equipped with the knowledge to start their own hydroponic crops as a hobby grower or as a new business venture.
“The Grower’s School workshop program has been a CropKing staple for over 40 years, and we’re excited to partner with Better Day Farms to share our growing methods and best practices, and discuss mistakes to avoid with the next group of future hydroponic farmers,” said Paul Brentlinger, CEO of CropKing Inc.
Better Day Farms is an 11,000+ square foot lettuce and herb growing facility that produces over 24,000 plants per month. Located in Osage Hills, Better Day Farms is Tulsa’s first large-scale hydroponic farm and is proudly transforming the food desert of north Tulsa.
To allow for more personal interaction and Q&A, capacity for the Grower’s School is limited to 16 people. Interested participants can register by calling 330-302-4203 or visiting https://cropking.com/Oklahoma-Hydroponic-Workshop .
