Well well well, it looks like Blake Lively is up to something, and if internet sleuths are to be believed, that “something” is a new beauty brand.
Rumors began flying when fans noticed that the It Ends With Us star was following an Instagram account called Blake Brown Beauty. The problem is, the brand only follows Miss Lively herself.
To add fuel to the fire, the only photo the brand posted was of the back of a woman’s head, which bears a striking resemblance to the 36-year-old’s blonde hair, leaving fans convinced she’s up to something.
In the comments section, fans took these signs to mean that Blake is about to launch a beauty brand, and that they’ll hopefully include products that will help them get hair like Blake’s.
“What is going on! Scream,” one fan wrote.
“I want to copy your amazing hair 👏 thank you so much!” another person commented.
In response, the Blake Brown Beauty account commented with a shhhh emoji: “Simple, elegant, secretive.”

This isn’t Lady Deadpool’s first foray into the business world: In June 2023, Blake launched her own line of alcoholic mixes and non-alcoholic sodas called “Betty Booze” and “Betty Buzz,” respectively.
If you’re still not convinced, know that Blake is connected to the Brown surname. In a press release for the beverage line, Blake explained why she chose the name Betty, but she may have inadvertently revealed her connection to the Brown surname as well.
“My father’s name was Ernest Brown Jr. but he was known as Ernie Lively,” she wrote in a press release, according to People magazine.
“My dad dropped his last name when he married my mom. The success that he and I have had is not because of his last name. So when he was working hard to build this company, I wanted him to be successful with a last name that meant something to him. Betty is my mom’s and my sister’s name.”

Gossip guru Dumois also spoke out about Blake’s potential beauty brand last month. When asked by Harper’s Bazaar US if there had been any beauty gossip circulating in the celebrity world in the last month, Dumois revealed some little-known information about Blake.
“During quarantine, she was planning to launch a hair care line. I’m curious if that’s still in the works or if it just hasn’t been launched yet,” she said.
And this morning, when the rumors hit turbo mode, Demor fired back with, “I told you so!” Well, my queen, I agree.

Blake herself hasn’t said anything publicly yet, but I personally believe we’ll be seeing an announcement from her or Blake Brown Beauty soon.
Rare Beauty, Rhode Skin, and Fenty aside, another celebrity brand has joined the beauty brand ranks. Well, maybe.
