LONDON — Wellness brand Body Brilliant is entering the home injectable market with the launch of the UK’s first NAD+ pen.
NAD+ is an abbreviation for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and is said to be an essential enzyme that increases cellular metabolism.
Body Brilliant’s NAD+ 4u Pen cites skin whitening, improved sleep, mental clarity, and hangover relief as the product’s benefits. The pen retails for GBP 350 with 20 50 mg injections. NAD+ shots are used over a period of 4 to 5 weeks.
NAD+ 4u can also be taken by infusion at home or at the brand’s collaborations with Soho House and Champney’s Spa, where there are more than 15 stations.

The UK is the first market where this product will be launched. “The market opportunity is huge, but our current focus is on Europe, the US and Australia,” said Gemma Wilkins, founder of Body Brilliant.
The idea for the pen came about in 2023 when Wilkins began looking into alternatives to traditional subcutaneous injections.
“We aim to provide a convenient and portable option that allows users to enjoy the benefits of NAD+ wherever they are. , we saw an opportunity to apply this method to NAD+ delivery to make it more user-friendly and accessible,” she said.
The NAD+ 4u pen is manufactured in the UK in partnership with Vaion, who also manufacture their own version of the pen.
NAD+ therapy is becoming increasingly popular. Spate reported that NAD+ received an average of 90,000 searches per month in 2023.
