The “Paging Dr. Beat” trend is trending on TikTok, giving users the opportunity to show off their fashion skills to the tune of a funky tune.

Social media platforms are a popular way for users around the world to showcase their skills, talents and quirks to a wider audience, often resulting in popular fashion styles.

This latest trend is no exception, giving users the opportunity to share something unique about their fashion sense by recreating a video created by the account “illtetotetoyou.”

In the original TikTok posted on June 12, Illtetotetoyou had several Roblox characters perform the “Sturdy Dance – Ice Spice” emote while playing a remix of Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine’s “Dr. Beat” over it.

With nearly 800,000 views, the catchy song and simple dance moves quickly became a hit and was quickly transformed into a fashion show among TikTok users.

Further adding to the trend, designers and seamstresses used song and dance to post their creations.

Seamstress Alexandra Louise contributed to the trend by sharing all of her Barbie outfit recreations, and her video has gone viral even more than the one that started the trend, garnering over 20 million views and nearly 4 million likes.

For others, their fashion sense helps them determine which style they fall into, like Sophie, whose videos have led viewers to dub her the “wacky pirate chick.”

Meanwhile, user Caroline Vazzana took on the challenge with no goal in mind other than to show viewers her love of “fun clothes.”
