INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Monday’s weather will continue across central Indiana on Tuesday with temperatures near normal and a bit of humidity in the air.
This time, the rain was primarily limited to areas north and west of Indianapolis.
The next chance for rain for the rest of the week is on Wednesday, after which we see a trend towards warmer temperatures for the foreseeable future.
Tuesday Night: A chance for showers remains until sundown. Low temperatures will only drop into the mid to upper 60s.
Wednesday: A slow-moving front will bring scattered rain and storms across northern Indiana during the morning, with rain gradually progressing across central Indiana through the afternoon and overnight hours.
Wildfire smoke may also drift closer to the ground at times, reducing air quality and visibility, and at least some of the smoke will be in the upper atmosphere.
High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s.
Thursday: Rain will be possible during the morning hours, mainly south of Interstate 70. Otherwise, it will be a mostly dry day with highs in the low 80s F. It will also be a bit more humid.
7-Day Forecast: Temperatures are expected to gradually increase heading into the last weekend of July, approaching the upper 80s on Sunday. Chances of rain and storms will also increase again starting Sunday and continue throughout the week. The long-range forecast has warmer temperatures possible for a good portion of next week.
