An honest review of the Gap Seamless Plunge Bralette

Gap’s Seamless Bralette comes in six colors (including neutrals, muted blues, and pinks) and features thin, adjustable spaghetti straps, a deep neckline, and a longer silhouette that hits lower on your rib cage than traditional bras. It’s made from 88% nylon and 12% spandex, which means it feels great against your skin. I’ve machine washed and dried it multiple times without it pilling or stretching out.

The support this bralette offers is typical of a seamless bralette. It offers nice support, but is not suitable for any workout other than brisk walking. The seamless construction makes it invisible under clothing. I’ve worn it under t-shirts, button-downs, sweaters, and even dresses without anyone noticing. I especially love the straps, which are thin enough to hide under a tank top and can be easily adjusted for the amount of support and lift you want. In my experience, the sizing is spot on. I wear about a 36D in a regular bra, and the large fits me perfectly, with plenty of room in the cups and the straps don’t dig into my shoulders.

Best of all, it’s wallet-friendly. Normally $36, it’s currently on sale for $27, which I think is a great price for a high-quality item that you’ll get a lot of use out of. (I’m thinking about picking up another color or two while it’s on sale.)

If, like me, you find the tightness of a traditional bra around your rib cage to be akin to torture, treat your boobs to Gap’s Seamless Plunge Bralette. They’ll thank you.
