The Brazilian government has announced plans to invest 41.2 billion reais (US$7.35 billion) in urban projects as part of the PAC program. Investments will be made in urban transportation, drainage, water supply and sewerage, with funding provided by the Federal Government and the Workers’ Compensation Guaranty Fund (FGTS).
