An award-winning youth theatre company is celebrating its 42nd anniversary with a summer performance of the Disney musical “Beauty and the Beast.”
The show by Falmouth’s Young Generation is due to run from August 7th to August 10th at the Princess Pavilion.
The group has been an integral part of the community for decades.
Known for their vibrant and dynamic performances, the group is ready to bring the timeless story of “Beauty and the Beast” to life.
A captivating tale filled with magic, romance and a powerful tale of love, brought to life by an accomplished all-female production team.

The cast is made up of talented young performers between the ages of 10 and 20 who have worked tirelessly to create this spectacle.
Songs performed include “Be Our Guest,” “Belle,” and the title track, “Beauty and the Beast.”
The show’s director Jade Stewart-Tribe, musical director Morwenna Bilham and choreographer Samantha Taylor expressed their enthusiasm.

Besides the performances, the production also features costumes, elaborate sets and animated effects.

To add to the excitement, Young Generation will be introducing relaxed performances for the first time, a unique approach to making theatre more accessible.
This special showing on August 10 at 2pm will feature inclusive staging with British Sign Language interpretation, softer sound effects and relaxed theatre rules.
A fun social gathering is planned after the matinee performance on the same day.
Audiences will have the opportunity to meet and interact with characters such as Belle, Beast and Lumiere.
