Bella Thorne admitted she “doesn’t feel good” about her body and accused Ozempic of setting “inordinate beauty standards” in Hollywood.

The actress got candid about her image while showing off a blue leopard print bikini in an Instagram Story video posted on Saturday.

“So I haven’t felt good about my body for a while now, especially with everyone being on Ozempic,” she told the Daily Mail.

Bella Thorne accused Ozempic of setting “crazy beauty standards” in Hollywood. Bella Thorne/Instagram The actress spoke out in her Instagram Story about how the popularity of weight-loss pills has affected her self-image. Bella Thorne/Instagram

Thorne, 26, claimed the type 2 diabetes drug had “created an insane standard of beauty that no one can live up to unless they’re taking Ozempic”.

The Disney Channel alum then detailed her workout routine, saying, “I swam every day, sweated as much as I could, walked everywhere, and I’m finally happy with myself.”

She flipped her middle finger at the camera and said, “I’m finally feeling better. So Ozempic, [f–k] off.”

“So I haven’t been happy with my body for a while now, especially since everyone else is on Ozempic,” she said in the video. Bella Thorne/Instagram Thorne claimed the drug has created “a ridiculous standard of beauty that no one can keep up with unless they’re on Ozempic.” Bella Thorne/Instagram

Thorne was recently spotted posing in a bikini during a beach getaway with fiancé Mark Emms.

On Saturday, the couple appeared to be openly affectionate while relaxing on a boat.

According to People magazine, the “St. Claire” star and the entrepreneur got engaged in May 2023 after dating for about nine months.

Thorne’s condemnation of Ozempic comes as a growing number of high-profile figures come forward to admit they use weight-loss drugs.

Last week, Alabama Barker, the 18-year-old daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, admitted to taking unnamed weight-loss drugs to lose weight.

Others who have used similar drugs include Kelly Clarkson, Tori Spelling, Rebel Wilson and Sharon Osbourne.
