Brigitte Macron is the First Lady of France and is married to President Emmanuel Macron. Over the past few years, the French First Lady has completely revamped her style, attending red carpet events, dinners with world leaders, and sitting front row at fashion shows. Most recently, she wore a Louis Vuitton suit to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Below, we take a look at how Macron’s style has evolved over the past decade.

In 2015, Emmanuel was still France’s economy minister. In June, he and his wife attended a dinner for then-French President François Hollande at the Elysée Palace, where Macron added his own twist to a little black dress and added some color with high heels.

When her husband was sworn in as the new president of France in May 2017, Macron paired this blue Louis Vuitton skirt suit set with nude pointed-toe pumps and a coordinating handbag, showcasing a look that combined classic style with a modern edge.

During their visit to the U.S., Macron and his wife attended a state dinner hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden at the White House. For the occasion, Macron wore an all-white, high-necked, long-sleeved evening dress with ornate silver embellishments at the neckline and waist.

First Lady Macron adopted a nautical inspiration for her look at the welcoming ceremony with Queen Camilla at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris on September 20, 2023. The skirt suit outfit featured a long-sleeved navy jacket with gold anchor buttons on the placket, matching the rest of the French First Lady’s outfit.

In the run up to the 2024 Paris Olympics, Macron wore a white skirt suit from French fashion house Louis Vuitton to a gala dinner hosted by the International Olympic Committee. With the Olympics taking place in Paris, this style choice was the ideal way to pay homage to the host city while staying true to Macron’s fashion sense.
