The worlds of the Indy 500, fashionistas and Swifties collide in Kristin Juszczyk’s latest design: the jacket that will be presented to the winner of Sunday’s Indianapolis 500.
Jusic, who is the wife of All-Pro fullback Kyle Jusic, made waves during the NFL playoffs earlier this year with the one-of-a-kind jackets she created for celebrities including Taylor Swift, Simone Biles and Brittany Mahomes.
Football Fashion: Kristin Yuzczyk is in a league of her own, designing NFL gear that women actually wear
This exposure earned her a licensing deal with the NFL, allowing her to use the team’s logo in future designs.
But this collaboration with the Indianapolis 500 marks the first time Juszczyk has designed a jacket to be presented to the winner of a major event.
Jordin Sparks Indy 500 Jacket
The Indy 500 actually commissioned two jackets from Juszczyk: one to be presented to the winning driver and the other to be worn by singer Jordin Sparks on race day.
What’s on the Indy 500 champion’s jacket?
Champion’s vintage race-inspired jacket has “2024 Indy 500 Champion” embroidered in the center. Juszczyk used merchandise from Shop Indy and the IMS store during the design process.
