Daisy Edgar-Jones wore a series of cyclone-inspired outfits during her “Twisters” press tour, embodying the film’s theme, but on Friday night she emerged from the eye of the storm in a sleek leather look perfect for a night out in New York City.

For the occasion, the actress tried out a pair of black high-rise shorts, part of the micro-short trend, that accentuated her long legs. She paired the barely there bottoms with a cropped white tank top, also showing off her toned abs, and layered a gorgeous burgundy patent leather jacket over the top. The cool oxblood style with its ’70s-inspired dagger collar and flared sleeves added a chic touch to the simple outfit.
The Normal People star added another pop of color to her outfit with a red leather bag on a long silver chain that draped over her shoulder. Her accessories included chunky silver hoop earrings and thin black sunglasses by Sportmax, the latter of which has remained consistent across her various looks. She completed her outfit with chunky black loafers by Gucci, which were just shown on the Resort 2025 runway.
