Fashion Frenzy (Arkangel) earned his second win of the harness racing season in the $36,000 Preferred Handicap Trot on Monday (July 22) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Fashion Frenzy reaches final stage for victory
The gelding ran the mile for Louis Philippe Roy in unpressured fashion, finishing in times of 26.3, 55 and 1:23.4. He pulled away from leader Handsome Sebastian (Trevor Henry) in the straight and won handily by three and a half lengths in 1:52.2. Handsome Sebastian was second. Frank’s Angel (Bob McClure) was third.

Fashion Frenzy has won 26 of his previous 46 starts, including two Ontario Sires’ Stakes Super Finals and two consecutive Earl Rowe Memorial Trots. The Richard Moreau-trained gelding has lifetime earnings of $1,208,587. The 6-year-old is owned by Ecurie Francis Richard, Gestion Mario Bourget, Pierre Guillemette and Sylvain Richard.
Morrow also won training triples with Mister Magic (Cadabra, James McDonald, 1:53), Stonebridge Bravo (Muscle Mass, McDonald, 1:53.1) and Bella Cavalla (Doverdan, McDonald, 1:53).
