Iconic clothing brand FUBU is set to reclaim its place in the fashion world with a relaunch during Atlanta Fashion Week in 2024.
FUBU entered the fashion industry and shook it up like no other had ever seen before. Its now world famous “For Us, By Us” moniker raised the bar and made consumers proud to dress themselves. The brand was originally a hat company founded by Daymond John, J. Alexander Martin, Keith Perrin and Carlton Brown.
Eventually, the brand evolved into what we now call “streetwear.”
According to a press release, the brand plans to return to the fashion industry for a shake-up in 2024 and beyond. FUBU’s fall 2025 menswear and suiting selections are set to debut at Atlanta Fashion Week in 2024.
The launch will take place on October 4th at 8pm and will feature a runway show that blends old styles with the brand’s new vision.
“This collaboration with Atlanta Fashion Week marks an important milestone for FUBU, connecting our iconic past with our vibrant future in fashion and beyond,” said Cecily Groves, vice president of brand management and licensing at FUBU and co-founder of hotelFUBU.
FUBU will also be hosting a two-week FUBU Archive Art Exhibition, organized in partnership with the Trap Music Museum, which will run from October 7th to October 21st at Buckhead Art & Co.
“The FUBU ARCHIVE gallery experience will be a multimedia showcase of legendary memories and milestones,” said Atlanta Fashion Week Founder Angela Watts. “The creatively displayed gallery will provide visitors with a unique insight into FUBU’s storied history while offering a glimpse into the brand’s present and future direction. This collaboration with Atlanta Fashion Week, Buckhead Art & Co., Trap Music Museum and Uncommon Impact Studio marks a major milestone for FUBU and reintroduces the brand to a new generation of fashion and culture enthusiasts.”
Atlanta Fashion Week 2024 will take place from October 2nd to October 7th, showcasing the best of the fashion industry in an immersive fashion experience. With pop-ups, presentations, panels, and more, you won’t want to miss your chance to be in Atlanta later this year.
