What is BUM?

BUM (Bottoms Up Movement) is a small business that is making a huge impact on LGBTQ+ families in the United States. Founded by gay fathers Carlos and Pat Dolan, BUM combines their love for the LGBTQ+ community with their personal experience of starting a family. They are also on a mission to support other same-sex couples on similar journeys. While talking about sex!

What does it offer?

BUM offers a wide range of high-quality products tailored for gay men, including lubricants, coffee body scrubs, and signature fiber supplements. These products are designed to promote sexual health and wellness. By combining a family-focused mission with products that address the intimate needs of gay men, BUM aims to destigmatize anal sex and break down the taboos surrounding the subject. Anal sex is nothing to be ashamed of, and BUM is making sure everyone knows that!

How does it help LGBTQ+ couples?

Central to BUM’s mission is the recognition that same-sex couples face significant challenges when building families. These obstacles are not only legal and political, but also economic. The costs associated with assisted reproductive technology can be significant, with IVF and surrogacy costs often exceeding $100,000.

To address these challenges, Bottoms Up Movement donates a portion of its proceeds to nonprofit partners who share its mission. Organizations like Men Have Babies and HelpUsAdopt.Org provide critical support to same-sex couples navigating the complex and expensive surrogacy process. They do this by offering grants and financial aid.

the mission we can accomplish

The Bottoms Up Movement is making a meaningful difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ families across the United States by providing products that customers love while supporting causes that make them happy. Their work not only helps same-sex couples achieve their dreams of raising children, but also contributes to promoting acceptance and understanding of diverse family structures in society.

How can I support BUM?

If you would like to learn more about BUM and support its mission, visit Bottoms Up Movement to receive our award-winning products. Follow BUM on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to keep up with our founders and gay fathers Carlos and Pat.
