I started reading The Subtle Art of Not Giving AF***, it’s such an important book, it adds a little spice to your life and brings out your inner tiger.

She loves to be on Instagram and social media, but she also likes to have fun and posts a lot on her Instagram account @pandaongpaucoescudero. It’s all in Tagalog and doesn’t sound the same when translated, but it’s very funny. I like to have her as my alter ego because she’s very energetic and sometimes she bites, and I feel like we need to bite sometimes too. I really enjoy her Instagram.

I’ve always been interested in skin care, but it wasn’t until I turned 38 that I started [this year on Valentine’s Day]I know exactly what to do and what not to do. And when it comes to sunscreen, I’m obsessed with all-natural primers that have sunscreen and brightening properties. I use Strokes Beauty Lab, a brand from the Philippines that I love.
I also love Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder – it’s lightweight but dewy and looks very natural. I also love their glosses. My favorite is the Dior Lip Glow Lip Balm. I’m indecisive so I’m always going from long/short to long/short with my hair and I’m always on the lookout for good quality extensions.
My passion for interior design

Anything made with Philippine mother-of-pearl. I go to a supplier in Cebu and I even gifted a friend a table made of mother-of-pearl. Christian Louboutin is a big fan of mother-of-pearl and is very proud that we have so much mother-of-pearl in the Philippines.

I love Alaïa dresses and Saint Laurent suits. They are very structured and make me feel very powerful. I am also a fan of Schiaparelli, which Diego Della Valle bought and relaunched. Daniel: [Roseberry, creative director] Great job, I love Louis Vuitton and Dior is always a classic, the list goes on and on.
My favourite travel destination

There’s always been something magical about the Hotel Lutetia in Paris, and I’m a fan of the Peninsula Hotels. I used to go to the Peninsula Manila a lot as a kid. They also had the InterContinental Manila, which was super famous, but it closed down. I was very lucky to buy the round marble table that was in the lobby and have it at home.

I love Jackie O. [Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis]Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly… they’re all classic names, but everyone I see at Fashion Week is an icon to me. Women these days can think outside the box, they can wear whatever they want, and the more they express themselves the more beautiful they become, which is amazing and liberating.

I am a big fan of the Bvlgari Serpenti and have a few for myself. I love the bold pieces like Saint Laurent and Schiaparelli costume jewelry. It is such beautiful, timeless jewelry.

I like to take a walk in Saint-Germain-des-Prés before lunch at La Société or brunch at Ralph’s Restaurant, or go shopping at Galeries Lafayette before lunch at Perruche, or go to the Fondation Louis Vuitton to see an exhibition or take a walk in the Jardin d’Acclimatation with my family.
