INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — New research from fast fashion company Boohoo has revealed the popular fashion trends in Indiana for 2024. Boohoo analyzed the average monthly Google searches for various fashion items to determine the most popular trends in the state.
Indiana’s top fashion trends:
Cowboy Boots: With an average of 4,900 monthly searches, cowboy boots are the most popular fashion item in Indiana. Celebrities like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have also contributed to their popularity. Maxi Skirts: With 2,351 monthly searches, maxi skirts are making a comeback. This versatile item is worn casually and formally. Trench Coats: With 2,163 monthly searches, trench coats are refreshing this staple with modern designs and bold colors. Ballet Flats: With 2,128 monthly searches, these shoes are praised for their comfort and elegance. A versatile choice that complements a variety of outfits. Joggers: With 1,824 monthly searches, jean shorts are making a comeback. Social media influencers are pairing them with a variety of outfits, from blazers to t-shirts. Tankinis: With 1,507 monthly searches, tankinis are a popular summer trend. A practical and stylish alternative to a regular bikini. Capri Pants: Capri pants receive 1,350 searches each month. These cropped pants are versatile and can be worn casually or formally. Kitten Heels: With 1,322 searches each month, kitten heels are a trendy yet comfortable shoe. Leopard Print: This trend receives 978 searches each month. Leopard print is popular for its bold, eye-catching style. Gingham Print: Gingham print is a trend with 968 searches each month. This classic pattern is loved for its playful and casual vibe.

TikTok and Instagram have made trends much more accessible and we’re seeing a shared love of fashion all over the world,” a Boohoo spokesperson said. “Not every trend is for everyone, but it’s important to find the trends that work for you and inspire each other to add new pieces to your wardrobe.
