2020 saw the timely debut of Antoine Gregory’s Black Fashion Fair, a space to spotlight and celebrate Black talent. Offering audiences a robust roster of designers, creative stories, and an e-commerce shop packed with the best finds, the site creates a much-needed space for industry figures who have long been overlooked. And it was exactly what the industry was missing. Two years later, the founder and his team, with support from eyewear brand Warby Parker, took their vision to new heights with the launch of BFF’s first magazine.

Black Fashion Fair Volume 0: SEEN (Collector’s Edition)

Available in stores now, the limited edition publication’s debut issue, titled VOLUME 0: SEEN, reimagines the culture from a Black perspective, with a focus on representation in fashion. Coverage includes memorable looks from Kerby Jean-Raymond’s debut couture collection for Pier Moss, as well as runway moments from red carpet favorite Sergio Hudson, CFDA darling Theofilio and cult handbag designer Brandon Blackwood.

Model Sabrina Nugent is the face of the issue’s digital cover, photographed by Amber Pinkerton.

“These pages are about the power of collaboration and community. As we continue to create reference materials for the future, Black Fashion Fair becomes our own institution of exhibition, discovery and research.” Gregory“Every page is an inspiring testament to a commitment to community and creativity, a belief we share at Warby Parker,” added co-founder and co-CEO Neil Blumenthal.

There are three covers for customers to choose from, shot by renowned photography duo AB+DM, Quil Lemons and Amber Pinkerton. The special edition of the magazine and all three covers are available to purchase at New York’s historic Mulberry Iconic Magazine store and at blackfashionfair.org.
