If you keep track of scores, you know this. Saoirse Ronan returns from hiatus every few years to shake up the scene. This comeback has caught the attention of moviegoers and often puts the Irish actor front and center in the Oscar race. After all, she received her first Academy Award nomination when she was just 13 years old, playing young Briony in “Tangled.” Since then, the actor has built a solid filmography, from “Brooklyn” and “Little Women” to the award-winning blockbuster “Lady Bird.”
This year, the star proved she’s still a force to be reckoned with. There are not one, but two movies. Ronan plays Rona, a struggling addict in the historical war drama “Blitz” and the Oscar-nominated potential film “Outrun.” While he has successfully kept himself out of the spotlight over the past few years, it’s clear that the actor is booked and busy.
Now, all that’s left is to shine on the press circuit. New stylist Danielle Goldberg has been up to the task ever since Ronan first appeared in a waxed jacket-turned-gown by LVMH Prize winner Hodakova. It’s a departure from the typical Ronan outfits we’re used to seeing, and it’s cute…but always safe. Now, she seems to be in a new phase of her life. Happily married and brave enough to speak up for the female population (we’re looking at you, Paul Mescal), Ronan is reveling in all its glory. Her style reflects just that. It’s sexy, unapologetic, and yet outstanding. Some of her recent looks include an ultra-short minidress by JW Anderson, a ruched shirt and pants combo by Ferragamo, and, of course, plenty of Louis Vuitton appearances, making Ronan the house ambassador. Obtained.
Below, take a look at how Ronan has reigned in the style department beyond the silver screen.
