The Starkville High School cheerleading squad will host its annual mini-cheer camp for students in kindergarten through sixth grade on Aug. 25 and will perform during halftime of the SHS vs. West Point home football game on Sept. 6.
The registration deadline for Mini Cheer Camp is Friday, August 9th at 5pm. Registration is $35 per student and includes a t-shirt, snack and water. After registration closes there will be a $50 fee and t-shirts are not guaranteed. Click here to register.
Jacket Mini Cheer Camp
Sunday, August 25
2:00pm – 5:30pm
SHS Gym
Check-in begins at 1:30pm
Camp begins at 2 p.m.
Parent performance from 5:30 p.m.
**Parents are not permitted in the gym during camp. Gym doors will open at 5:15pm to allow parents to attend the performance starting at 5:30pm. Pick-up will occur immediately following the performance.**
Cost: $35
$50 after deadline
*No refunds will be given unless the event is cancelled.
Campers are not guaranteed a t-shirt if they register after August 9th.

Scheduled camp activities:
Each camper will receive a mini Cheer Camp T-shirt. Snacks and bottled water will also be provided.
Campers will learn chants, cheers and dances from current SHS cheerleaders under the supervision of current program coaches and parents.
All Mini Cheer Camp participants will have the opportunity to perform in front of their family and friends at the SHS Yellow Jackets vs. West Point football game on September 6th. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Tickets can be purchased at gofan.co. Mini Camp cheerleaders will receive free admission if they wear their camp t-shirt.
Notes:
Campers should wear athletic shoes and comfortable athletic clothing. Hair should be tied back and off the shoulders. For safety reasons, jewelry and gum are prohibited.
