Kamala Harris has had a very busy few weeks since it was announced that she would run for president following Joe Biden’s resignation. The Democratic candidate has been working tirelessly and we have been following her campaign closely. It doesn’t really matter what she’s wearing, but we think the politician is a very well-dressed woman and we admire her style.

The 59-year-old’s work attire often includes expertly cut pantsuits in a variety of stylish hues. One of her most famous sets was from acclaimed designer Carolina Herrera, which she wore in 2020.
This quickly became her uniform and we’ve been loving every look she’s worn, especially the powder blue suit and the deep purple two-piece she wore earlier this week.
But there’s one item she always pairs with her suits: a stunning statement necklace, whether it’s pearls or a classic gemstone. Necklaces add a bit of sparkle to the mix and make a powerful statement.
Could she have taken inspiration from Hillary Clinton, who famously ran for president in 2016?
Hillary, wife of former US President Bill, is famous for popularising the ‘pants suit’ and has worn them in every colour imaginable.
She also always accessorizes with a bold necklace, so perhaps Kamala is going for this combo as well.
Presidential candidate Kamala
President Joe Biden announced last week that he was dropping out of the race.
The US general election will be held in November. If Kamala takes the lead and defeats Trump, she will become the first woman to assume the presidency on January 20, 2025. Kamala, who is married to lawyer Douglas Emhoff, criticized Donald Trump on Monday, saying he is “trying to take us back to a time before many Americans had freedoms and rights.”
She recently told supporters that she hopes for “a brighter future that has a place for all Americans.”
