Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to headline a rally in Milwaukee on Friday night, and Donald Trump is scheduled to host a rally at the Fiserv Forum the same evening.
When Harris’ campaign announced the event Wednesday night, her campaign did not specify the location. But a rapidly rising lakefront stage and a series of city permits will make it happen.
The power permit states that power will be provided temporarily for the “Kamala Harris rally.” On Wednesday, a noise permit for a “concert” was issued to the campaign group.
The Harris presidential campaign is building a stage at Veterans Park, 1750 N. Lincoln Memorial, which will allow loud music to be played each night until 10 p.m. The stage will be allowed to host concerts from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily through Monday. , November 4th.
Harris will perform alongside music artists The Isley Brothers, Glorilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte and DJ Gemini Gilley.
The Isley Brothers, famous for their 1959 song “Shout,” can scream as much as they want if the campaign follows through on a noise-minimization pledge to “move speakers away from buildings.” If not, you need to “be a little softer now.”
