Kathy Hilton was nearly run over by a model at her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Sutton Stracke’s fashion show.

The 65-year-old socialite Hilton happened to be on the catwalk while attending her co-stars’ fashion event at the Godfrey Hotel in Los Angeles on Monday, July 22. Video circulating online shows Hilton standing on the runway and chatting with attendees in the front row.

Then a model strode down the catwalk, came up behind Hilton and tapped her on the shoulder to let her know the show had started, and the reality TV star turned to face the model in surprise and scurried back to her seat.

The clip was originally filmed by Jadon Medina (@jadonmedina) and was reposted by popular Bravo account “Queens of Bravo,” where it has been viewed nearly 300,000 times on X (formerly Twitter).

“No Cassie in the middle of the catwalk at Sutton’s fashion show,” the fan account captioned the video.

Hilton’s fashion faux pas prompted mixed reactions on social media.

“Watching this over and over again and truly bringing me to tears,” one X user commented in response to the video.

“She has absolutely no self awareness and I love that,” said another fan.

Some fans praised the Bravo star for her usual eccentric behavior, with one viewer writing, “Not funny the model is pushing her around. Does she know who Cassie is? Rude girl.”

“Don’t push Kathy Hilton,” another user said. “If she goes out of her way you deserve respect.”

However, some argue that Hilton should know better, having attended so many fashion events.

“Honestly, I don’t blame the model at all,” one person wrote, “and she did it with a smile.”

“I love you Cassie but please be polite. You know how to behave at a fashion show,” shared another user.

Hilton was joined by fellow RHOBH co-stars Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais, Bozoma St. John, Dorit Kemsley, and Hilton’s sister, Kyle Richards, at the fashion show for Stracke’s debut Sutton Green Label Brand Capsule Collection. The event was likely filmed for RHOBH Season 14, which is scheduled to air on Bravo.

This isn’t the first time Hilton’s eccentric behavior has made headlines. In December, the mother of four sparked outrage after she and actress Mariska Hargitay started applying lipstick onstage at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. As Hargitay was accepting the award for Outstanding Drama TV Star of the Year for her performance in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Hilton reached into her bag and applied lipstick in the middle of Hargitay’s heartfelt speech.

She has since apologized for the incident, telling Extra magazine that she felt “terrible” about being talked about in the story. “I have so much respect for Mariska,” Hilton told the magazine. “I’ve already reached out to her, sent her a direct message, and wanted to get her address, but I feel awful.”

Hilton added that she would “never be intentionally disrespectful,” and said of her RHOBH co-stars that it was her “first time back onstage with some of the girls.”

Since becoming a regular cast member on RHOBH in 2021, Hilton has been the subject of many trending memes, including the time she mistook co-star Garcelle for her sister, Kyle, and when Stracke said, “Not all is well,” Hilton asked, “Who’s Hunky Dory?”
