KidneyTexas, Inc. celebrated its 9th anniversary with this year’s Runway Report Luncheon and Fashion Show, celebrating its 25th anniversary on September 24th.
The event raised funds and awareness for the fight against kidney disease. Since 1999, KidneyTexas, Inc. has raised more than $4.7 million for local efforts aimed at improving and managing this disease.
Luncheon guests experienced live and silent auctions, raffles, a fashion show, award presentations, and a three-course meal.

Several honorees were recognized at the event, including Donna Earp Weitzman, who received the Sue Goodnight Award, and Barbara Bigham, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Emmeline Wilson and her late husband Claude Wilson were also recognized as recipients of the 25th Anniversary Special Award.
Everson Walls presented the Legacy Award in his name to Dr. Raymond Quigley, who works at Camp Reynal every summer. Camp Reynal allows children with kidney disease to have fun and receive the dialysis and medical care they need.
Murray Media co-founder Scott Murray is a member of the Baylor Scott & White Health Foundation, Children’s Medical Center Foundation, Methodist Health System Foundation, National Kidney Foundation/Camp Reynal, Southwest Transplant Alliance, and more. , announced this year’s beneficiaries of Kidney Texas Inc. , and Texas Health Resources Foundation.
