Kylie Jenner is enjoying her Italian vacation, reminding us all that there are some fashion staples that are universally loved no matter where you are.
On Saturday, July 20, the makeup mogul posted a series of photos featuring her latest Italian outfit: a backless black dress with a tie-neck halter top. Showing off her timeless Old Hollywood style, Jenner posed near a large open window in a nondescript building in Italy, where she is currently vacationing.
“When in Italy,” Jenner captioned the Instagram post, which features a series of photos of her in different poses, including some with her hair up and down to better highlight the backless features of her quintessential black dress.
At the time of publication, it’s unclear what exact brands the famous Jenner wore during her soak in Italy, but thankfully for us fashion-conscious people, there are a few options for copying Jenner’s Italian look.

In another Instagram post, Jenner shared an outfit update, showing off her new Kai Capri catsuit, which the entrepreneur promised would be “coming soon.”
“Quickly got dressed for dinner,” Jenner captioned the second post, which also showed off some makeup products.
“I’m wearing ‘cappuccino’ lip liner and ‘love that 4 u’ tinted butter balm @kyliecosmetics,” Jenner explained, because you wouldn’t be the most successful makeup mogul on the planet without some well-timed self-promotion.
Jenner has been documenting her Italian vacation on Instagram, sharing a series of posts that show the reality TV star enjoying time with her young children.
“It doesn’t get any better than this,” Jenner captioned two photos of her daughters Stormi and Ea, facing away from the camera. In another, her son Ea can be seen rubbing noses together.
Jenner has been leaning into a variety of trends for Summer 2024 lately, including the nostalgia trend of bringing back old, timeless styles. Not only did she recently elevate a simple black dress with a backless look, but she was also spotted bringing back a little white dress for a recent girls’ night out.
While celebrating her best friend Anastasia Karanikolaou’s birthday on June 8, Jenner wore a form-fitting miniature white dress by Defiance that featured ruched detailing and an asymmetrical cut.
She completed her evening look with yellow open-toed strappy sandals and a knee-length black leather jacket.
