It’s the night before the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics, and Paris is buzzing. Pop stars who are set to perform are gradually arriving in the City of Light. First, Celine Dion caused a stir yesterday when she posted a photo of herself at the Louvre. The opening ceremony will be the French-Canadian’s first performance since being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in December 2022, a rare chronic neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness and severe spasms, forcing her to halt her touring schedule and step back from the spotlight.

And last night, Lady Gaga was spotted stepping out of a Paris restaurant, already looking sporty in her outfit: Dressed modestly with her blonde hair tucked under a cap, the “A Star Is Born” singer-actress paired a black-and-white striped silver bomber jacket with black trousers, accessorizing with a muted, luxe black Celine bag and sunglasses.
Lady Gaga, who plays the creepy-cool superhero villain Harley Quinn in the Joker movie, made her appearance just days after the release of the latest trailer for the sequel, Joker: For Do. The film, starring Joaquin Phoenix, hits theaters this October, but for now the only monsters around are the little monsters trying to figure out how to recreate Lady Gaga’s sporty-chic style.
With summer temperatures still to be determined in the UK, Lady Gaga’s look is a lesson in interseasonal dressing, and it had us instantly Googling and shopping for her new bomber jacket, which can be dressed up with slacks and heels like Gaga, or dressed down with jeans and trainers.
This pop icon has sported some flashy stage costumes in the past, so we can’t wait to see what kind of performance she’ll put on at her first Olympic Games.
