VMI Releasing is pleased to announce the North American VOD release of “Gaymede,” the piquant Southern Gothic thriller from partners in life and creation, Colby Holt and Sam Probst. “Ganymede” had its world premiere at the 41st Reeling International Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature Film, and the Pride Award at the Chattanooga Film Festival. “Ganymede” will premiere on cable and digital VOD, including Apple TV, Fandango at Home and Prime Video, on August 6, 2024.
The LGBTQ+ thriller stars Jordan Dow (Reach), Pablo Castelblanco (Alaska Daily, Happy’s Place), David Koechner (Anchorman, Cheap Thrills), Robyn Lively (Teen Witch), Joe Chrest (Stranger Things) and Marissa Reyes (Raven’s Home).
Ganymede is directed by Colby Holt and Sam Probst from a script by Holt. Ganymede is produced by Steven Stanley (What Lies Below), Kevin Greene and Mark Goldberg in association with Iris Indie International. Dentsu’s Geneva Wasserman (Spiderhead), J. Craig Gordon, Kevin Stanberry and Dan Discenza serve as executive producers.
