Marc Jacobs named WSJ’s 2024 Fashion Innovator
A fashionable addition to WSJ Magazine’s Class of 2024 Innovators. Marc Jacobs has been named the magazine’s 2024 Fashion Innovator and will receive the honor at Tuesday night’s annual awards ceremony. In a new cover story by editor Lolly Satran, the designer takes center stage as we delve into the top fashion shows from his 40+ year career, personal fashion transformations, and self-kindness. As a bonus, Jacobs appeared on WSJ’s “The Job Interview” series, where he reflected on his most famous collections and the collaborators, including Anna Wintour, who helped him while he was battling addiction. .
“I think she has an incredibly kind heart,” Jacobs said of Winter. “When I was struggling with addiction, she took me out to lunch as Anna. She said, ‘Why don’t you learn to play tennis or something?’ Instead of doing drugs, I smiled earlier, and it’s like bless her heart. Yeah. If only it were that easy. ”

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ gag order request denied in ongoing sex trafficking case
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking case continues with new gag order denied. According to Page Six, Judge Arun Subramanian rejected Combs’ proposal for a gag order to prevent government officials from sharing information about his case with the press. But Mr. Subramanian adopted an order prohibiting investigators, federal officials and members of Combs’ legal team from divulging any grand jury proceedings that could impede his trial. Combs was previously arrested in September on numerous charges, including sex trafficking, interstate transportation for prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy. Meanwhile, his trial is currently scheduled to take place on May 5, 2025, the same day as the highly anticipated 2025 Met Gala.
