Since marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan Markle has become one of the most watched women in the world, and that attention extends to her glamorous outfits.

What Meghan will wear has been hotly debated, discussed, speculated and eagerly awaited by fans and critics alike.

Since joining the royal family, the Duchess has developed a distinctive style with simplicity as the cornerstone of her aesthetic. In the Netflix documentary, she explains that she sticks to a neutral palette to blend in and not stand out when she’s with her husband’s family, but classic neutrals, earth tones, and monochrome outfits are her forte.

There’s been a consistent theme in her wardrobe so far this year, with all-white looks making a recurring appearance in her style lineup.

Elegant, clean, pure and simple are all words that could describe the Duchess’s looks so far this year.

Newsweek takes a look at some of Meghan Markle’s fantastical white fashion looks set to debut in 2024.

Porochic

On April 12, Meghan was in Florida to watch Prince Harry compete in the Royal Salute Polo Challenge, which raises money for the Saint Barre charity.

The Duchess looked effortlessly chic in an all-white wrap-front dress with a keyhole bodice cut-out by California designer Heidi Merrick.

Meghan accessorized with a white handbag, nude suede high-heeled pumps and classic black sunglasses.

Classic Pant Suit

Prince Harry and Meghan’s most significant public appearance so far this year came during their official visit to Nigeria in May.

The couple were invited by the Chief of Staff of the Nigerian Ministry of Defence in connection with their activities at the Invictus Games, which Prince Harry is sponsoring.

While attending an official engagement in the capital, Abuja, Meghan wore a striking pure white pantsuit designed by American design house Altuzarra.

Gorgeous reception dresses

For the big evening reception, which was one of the centrepieces of the Nigeria trip, Meghan again wore an all-white outfit to match Prince Harry’s light-coloured suit.

The Duchess wore a sophisticated strapless column dress by the brand Saint Agni, accessorized with simple diamond and gold jewelry.

The appeal of the ESPYs

Meghan’s most recent high-profile appearance was to attend the ESPYs in Los Angeles, where Prince Harry was awarded the Pat Tillman Award for his work at the Invictus Games.

For the red carpet event, Meghan wore a halter neck evening gown with a bare back and side slits, specially designed by the Oscar de la Renta team.

The dress’ silhouette was similar to the gown worn by the Duchess for her wedding reception at Frogmore House on the grounds of Windsor Castle in 2018.
