Influencer Morgan Riddle. We want to bring new audiences to tennis. Javier Caso
Morgan Riddle was working behind the scenes in the media when she met her boyfriend, professional tennis player Taylor Fritz, during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. However, her roles within the industry quickly reversed, as the Minnesota native traveled all over the world to cheer on Fritz during his games. “I really got into social media by accident,” Riddle tells Observer of how her work in influencer marketing led her to become an influencer herself. “I’ve always loved dressing up, so one morning I posted a video of myself getting ready for a tennis match on TikTok without really thinking about it, and my videos started taking off. Eight months later, Riddle has turned social media into a full-time job, posting images of himself courtside to his more than 500,000 followers on social media, and in the process reinventing the sport of tennis. brought fans. “At first we didn’t have a specific mission, but it evolved into introducing tennis to a younger audience,” she says.
Riddle’s “Get Ready with Me” videos, which document her at tennis events from the Monte Carlo Masters to the Japan Open, have collectively racked up millions of views. Riddle, who counts Kate Middleton and Kendall Jenner as her style icons, often uses Pinterest to curate her looks, but in reality, she’s just dressing for herself. “Whether I’m attending a game or doing something else, I always wear bright colors, floral prints, and dresses,” she says, adding her favorite summer-inspired styles added that his shopping destination is Australia. “When I go to Australia, I generally don’t pack anything in my suitcase because the shopping here is amazing. If you go to a mall in America, you’ll find H&M, ZARA, Aritzia. But the shopping in Melbourne If you go to the mall, there might be 30 smaller labels you’ve never heard of, like Dish or Bec + Bridge or Kookaï.”
Riddle also offers a behind-the-scenes peek into her life on the tennis circuit, and is often seen in the stands cheering on Fritz, currently the 12th ranked male tennis player in the world. He is one of those people with a sad face. -She was even called “the most famous woman in men’s tennis” by the New York Times.

As her social media presence grows, so does Riddle’s involvement in the sport. Last year, she was hired by Wimbledon to host a video series showcasing the fashion looks of other participants in the tennis tournament. Riddle has partnered with both luggage brands Monos and Fenty Beauty, and at this year’s U.S. Open, Riddle partnered with big-name brands such as Boss, Wilson and David Yuman on court, and apart from the tournament, Fenty Beauty. She will also be in residence at New York Fashion Week, marking her second season participating. “This time last year, the world of fashion was still fairly new to me,” says Riddle, who has since worked at Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton. “I’ve spent the past year learning as much as I can about different designers and fashion houses. I have a list of dream shows and presentations, but I’ve always loved Kite, Miu Miu, Sandy Liang, Tory… Birch, Michael Kors is probably my top five.”
Fresh off a flight to New York for the US Open (and New York Fashion Week), Riddle shared with Observer her current must-haves, from her bare-bones skincare routine to the bag she carries.
Riddle hosted a video series at Wimbledon last year. Morgan Riddle’s morning skin care routine:
It has to be kept fairly simple. Right now, PanOxyl is the only face wash that keeps my skin from breaking out. After that, I use Ole Henriksen’s Peptide Boost Moisturizer.
Here’s her health routine:
Most often it’s a combination of Pilates and Bally’s. It changes my mood quite a bit, but I stay pretty active. I probably walk 20,000 steps a day, and I try to go to class at least once a day using ClassPass.
Fenty Gloss Bomb. Fenty tennis match essentials:
My go-to bag is the Louis Vuitton Neverfull. I always have Fenty Gloss Bomb Heat in Hot Cherry. That has been my lip routine for over 3 years now. And I always carry a little Fenty pressed blotting powder, sunglasses, a YouTube vlogging camera, and headphones so I can edit and watch TikToks while I’m waiting in the players’ lounge for the game to start. .
What she sees:
I’m hooked on Amazon Prime’s “The Boys.” I think I watched all four seasons at once in less than a month. It’s a little embarrassing, but I really loved it. It’s really brutal and definitely dark in some ways, but it’s also very funny.
Favorite vacation spot:
I don’t know if I can really call it a vacation, but I’m going to Tokyo on tour. It’s Taylor’s favorite place and we always have fun there. I would like to go back to the Maldives and stay at One&Only. I probably went there in 2020, and it was such a dream-like time.
Monos. Monos What she travels:
I’m not a minimalist packer at all, so I carry two 70-pound checked bags each time. I just got the aluminum Monos luggage that I took with me to New York, and the tote bag I’m currently traveling with is also from Monos. I’m all about Dr. Dennis Gross’ LED Light Therapy Mask, so I always make sure to have it with me. Now, every time I fly, I take a nap. I couldn’t survive without wearing noise-cancelling headphones over my eye mask and earplugs to make sure I couldn’t hear anything.
Los Angeles Favorites:
The coffee is Australian so I walk to the Ministry of Coffee every morning. Melbourne is known for having the best coffee in the world, and that’s true, so it was great to find an Australian coffee shop within walking distance. Taylor and I also love Uber Eats breakfast burritos from Dialogue Cafe, which is a pretty popular spot. Afterwards, we will go to dinner at Matsuhisa Kakatsuya. I ordered Katsuya on our first date, so I go here often. a bit.
Here’s what she doesn’t want to part with in her wardrobe:
I’m always organizing my closet, but I’m really having a hard time getting rid of sweatshirts. In fact, I have a closet in my apartment that’s just sweatshirts and hoodies. I probably have about 50 of them, but there’s no reason to get rid of them.
