I’ll admit that the term “Gen Z parents” is hard to really wrap my head around, but my kids are grown, and my oldest is now 27 and has kids of his own (and is having great sex).
Just a few years ago, it seemed like Gen Z was dancing on TikTok, creating youth culture trends on Twitter, and everyone over the age of 35 was freaking out about their online antics.
Now they’re grown up, becoming parents, and allegedly winning the game of which generation has the best sex.
A recent survey by the Bureau of Cultural Affairs found that a “staggering 79%” of Gen Z parents are having “shocking” sex.
The consumer research agency surveyed 5,335 parents aged 20-40 and 1,000 childless people aged 20-27.
In the report, Gen Z parents are defined as couples ages 20-27 with children under the age of six, while millennial parents are defined as couples ages 28-40 with children under the age of six.

The survey found that 79% of Gen Z parents said they had “really satisfying” sex in the past three months.
Slightly behind were millennials, with 74 percent reporting “bedroom bliss.”
Meanwhile, childfree Gen Zers fared worst, with only 45% saying they had a satisfying sex life.
This finding is especially shocking given that since the dawn of dating, it has been widely believed that being young, single and childfree naturally means more frivolous sex.

“Contrary to the common belief that kids ruin romance, Gen Z parents are turning the tables,” study author and Culture Agency co-founder Cassi Bruno said in a statement.
“They feel that their relationships are strengthened and improved by the presence of children,” she added, noting that people in their 20s with children reported feeling less sad, anxious and lonely, according to the New York Post.
The Culture Department’s research also suggested that having a partner and children could be a potential antidote to the loneliness epidemic.
“When we asked Gen Z if having children would be a cure for loneliness, the results were surprising,” the report said. “Gen Zers who don’t have children: [more] “They are more likely to report feeling lonely than their Gen Z parents.”
Bruno added that it’s pretty well known that “Gen Z has a hard time meeting new people and dating,” suggesting that it’s probably “an issue with regular access to sexual partners.”
So if we’re learning anything from all of this, it’s that apparently Gen Z is still telling all of us how to do everything.
Millennials take note!
