NEW DELHI: Many employees have to deal with work emails even while on vacation. One Gen Z employee has come up with an ingenious solution to tackle the latter problem and is making waves on the internet.
Joshua Kessel foregoes the traditional method of sending a quick email to his coworkers before leaving for vacation. Instead, Kessel attached an interesting video for everyone to see. Within minutes, he shared the video in a TikTok ad, where it went viral.

In the video, Kessel can be heard saying, “If you’re watching this, I’m assuming I’m on a flight to Europe right now. Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions.” He then answers some frequently asked questions. After completely ignoring the question, “When will you be back?”, he answers what to do if a recruiter wants to email him. Kessel responds that they should forward the email to their personal email.
He added, “And third, if you have any urgent queries, please send us an email and we will review it when we get back.” The video has garnered a lot of attention across multiple platforms. Many have called it “next level.”
One person commented, “I bet this guy works at a small fun company. I don’t think my current corporate job would allow this,” while a second commented, “Legend for keeping this *just* under Outlook’s maximum file size,” and a third wrote, “Why am I looking at this 2 days before a holiday? I don’t have time to make one.”
“That’s why the US and EU are so productive,” said another.
