Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban looked nervous as they watched 14-year-old Australian skateboarder Chloe Covell compete at the Paris Olympics on Sunday.

The couple were joined for the exciting moment by their daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13.

Being proud Australians, Keith and Nicole soaked up the excitement of the event and even stood up at one point to support Australia’s rising skaters.

The couple were seen waving their arms in the air and shouting words of encouragement.

Kobel had qualified for the medal round of the women’s street finals but was heartbroken when she missed out on a medal in the street skateboarding event.

The 14-year-old finished last in the medal round at Concorde skatepark in central Paris on Sunday, falling multiple times and at one point being reduced to tears.

Japan’s Yoshizawa Coco won the gold medal with a total score of 272.75 points, beating compatriot Liz Akama’s 265.95 points.

Keith and Nicole had been hoping for an Australian victory and their faces showed clear signs of disappointment at the result.

Meanwhile, Nicole wore a smart white blouse underneath a black pinstripe blazer.

She added a casual vibe to the outfit with a plain white baseball cap and black sunglasses.

The Big Little Lies star’s strawberry blonde hair hung loosely around her shoulders.

The pair looked as if they had nowhere else they wanted to be, cheering happily along with the packed crowd.

At one point, Nicole checked in on her daughter, Faith, who had removed her sunglasses and was wiping her eyes.

Nicole, who is well-versed in extreme sports thanks to her role in BMX Bandits, was also seen discussing the finer points of skateboarding with Keith.
