Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban make rare Olympic outing with daughters Sunday and Faith

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban made a rare public appearance with their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, at the Paris Olympics, where they captivated the crowds by cheering on fellow 14-year-old Australian skateboarder Chloe Covell.

The family, known for supporting Australian talent, were visibly excited and engaged at the Women’s Street Finals Skateboarding event on Sunday, making the most of their time.

The couple, along with their daughters Sunday, 16, and Faith, 13, were seen cheering on Kobel as he competed in the medal round at Concord Skate Park.

Despite her hard work, the young skateboarder finished last in the medal round, a result that was clearly disappointing to both Kobel and her supporters.

Nicole and Keith were waving their arms and shouting words of encouragement throughout the event.

Kobel’s emotional moment, after falling multiple times and ultimately missing out on a medal, resonated with members of the Urban Kidman family.

Japanese skateboarders dominated the competition, with Yoshizawa Coco winning gold and Akama Liz taking silver, and when the results were announced the disappointment was clear on Nicole and Keith’s faces, reflecting the feelings of the young athletes themselves.

Keith opted for a relaxed style for the occasion, wearing a black and white floral shirt that showed off his tribal-inspired sleeve tattoos.

He paired the outfit with black sunglasses to protect his eyes from the bright Parisian sun. Known for her elegant style, Nicole wore a smart white blouse underneath a black pinstripe blazer, and added a casual touch with a plain white baseball cap and black sunglasses.

Her strawberry blonde hair flowed naturally around her shoulders, perfectly complementing the chic yet relaxed ensemble.

Clearly enthralled by the event, the couple exuded warmth and enthusiasm and demonstrated their wholehearted support for Covell.

In one scene, Nicole is seen comforting her daughter Faith, who appears to be wiping away tears, making for a touching mother-daughter moment that shows the strong family bond.

No stranger to discussing complex topics, Nicole was seen explaining the nuances of skateboarding to Keith, perhaps drawing on experience gained from her role in the iconic Australian film, “BMX Bandits.”

Although Nicole usually keeps her children out of public view, she made an exception when Sunday and Faith made their red carpet debut at the AFI Life Achievement Awards earlier this year.

The event not only celebrated Nicole’s illustrious career, but also offered a rare glimpse into her family life.

The ceremony featured footage from Nicole’s diverse filmography, including the controversial film “Eyes Wide Shut,” in which she co-starred with her then-husband Tom Cruise.

In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Nicole reflected on her experience watching these images with her daughters, particularly the scene from Eyes Wide Shut in which she’s high.

“They saw me getting high,” Nicole recalled with a laugh. “When they aired it, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. I got it.’ I was sitting next to my daughter watching it on Sunday.”
