Nicole Kidman sent a shoutout to her husband Keith Urban, who spent his birthday giving back to those in need.

On Saturday, Nicole and Keith attended the Concert for the Carolinas at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, to raise money for Hurricane Helen relief efforts.

The benefit concert was headlined by Luke Combs and Eric Church, and also featured performances by Keith, Bailey Zimmerman, Scotty McCreary, James Taylor, and Sheryl Crow.

The event raised $24.5 million, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Nicole also made a surprise appearance on stage that night to celebrate her husband’s 57th birthday.

But before that, she helped Keith welcome Church to the stage.

“[We’re] “Eric called Keith and I’m here with you guys tonight,” Nicole told the crowd. “I just want to say it’s his birthday tonight. …and he wanted to be here with you. So let’s go. Eric Church called him and he’s here. .”

In early October, North Carolina natives Eric and Luke revealed their “Concert for Carolina” benefit concert aimed at helping local communities recover after Hurricane Helen.

Eric told Good Morning America that the reason this cause is so important to him is because “quite simply, it’s who I am: Made in North Carolina.” spoke.

Meanwhile, Luke told GMA that “Eric was the first person I called” after seeing the devastation Helen had left behind.

“I know how much our state means to him and to myself, and I knew he would be willing to do whatever it took to help.” he continued.
