Ping Aquadrive Jacket Sale
The Ping SensorDry AquaDrive Waterproof Jacket is breathable, stretchy, ultralight, and windproof. The fact that it uses such a very thin and lightweight material, and without any additional lining on the inside, provides such good protection in the rain is actually quite remarkable.
Some waterproof golf shoes (not the high-end ones) lose their strength quickly when exposed to rain, lose their shape, and stick to your body. You get what you pay for. With the Ping AquaDrive Jacket you get a very high quality waterproof jacket.

I played 6 rounds wearing this jacket in conditions that ranged from light to moderate rain. Whether it was the links at Formby Golf Club or the exposed fairways in the hills of Georgia’s stunning new Paragraph Golf & Spa Tabori, this full-zip jacket kept me perfectly dry and comfortable. It’s so light that you can layer it underneath for extra warmth without feeling restricted in your swing. In my opinion, a minimalist design is the best when it comes to waterproofing. The AquaDrive jacket features two zippered side pockets (no unnecessary chest pouch), easily adjustable elasticated cuffs, and an adjustable shockcord hem. The controls are a little clunky and not very robust, but you get the hang of it quickly. Meanwhile, a two-way weatherproof front zipper allows you to quickly and easily put on and take off the jacket with minimal effort.

Pair it with the Ping AquaDrive pants and you’ll look like a pro even on rainy days. Speaking of pros, this brand’s stylish design is also worn by tour pros. If you attended the very wet and windy Alfred Dunhill Links Championship recently, you’ve no doubt seen some of these suits.
I would be happy if there was one bright color included. Winter tends to be gray and dull, so my vote goes to Brilliant Blue/Oxford Blue (pictured). Contrast branding and Ping logos (one on the right shoulder, one on the back collar, and one SensorDry stamp next to the left pocket) have also been carefully considered. Ping isn’t really “in-your-face.” Although the branding is subtle, the logo gives the garment a stamp of quality that golfers appreciate.

One detail that is often overlooked is the hanging loop on this jacket. That’s my little problem. When I come home wet from golf and need to hang something up in the garage to dry, I want to see that loop. Thank you, Mr. Pin.
