Before trying K18, I was an Olaplex user and I still stick with this product. But I really love that K18 is a leave-in treatment, not a mask you use in the shower. Leaving Olaplex on for 10 minutes felt like an eternity, especially when I wasn’t having an all-in-one shower (one that exfoliates and shaves). K18 can be left on your hair for 4 minutes after the shower to activate it, and then you can style it (or just let it air dry like I do).
I found that my hair was softest the next day. Don’t be discouraged if your hair doesn’t look or feel different on the day of use. One last thing: although it’s quite pricey, a little goes a long way. A 50mL tube should last you several months. Ultimately, K18 is more of a maintenance product, so you don’t need to use it every time you wash your hair.”
