Ryan Garcia unleashed an anti-LGBTQ tirade at X on Friday night while watching the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The highly controversial boxing superstar, who is currently serving a one-year suspension after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs, criticized the decision to include LGBTQ music and pop culture performers at the opening ceremony.
“What is this gay shit? [sic]Garcia Post to X In response to the opening ceremony video.
“Fuck the Olympics. Boycott them because they’re disrespectful to Jesus Christ,” Garcia said. I followed up with the next post.

“The LGBT community is a cult” He wrote.
“Gay and lesbian people, if you have that kind of heart, I can find forgiveness and love. But I don’t care about the horrible things the community does to children.” He added.
“Gays are an abomination to God. You have a problem with the Most High God, not me. You are an abomination to God.” He posted along with a Google search for Leviticus 18:22.
“So to all of you in the trans community, you can do whatever you want, be disrespectful, take your penis out and walk around like a stinky piece of shit, but I’m gonna fight back. You’re all scared. Burn in hell, you woke animal.” He said in another post:He later posted: “Transgender people go to hell.”
“If you support gays, transgender people, or satanic cults, don’t follow me.” He declared.

Garcia, 25, also responded to an anti-Semitic post which claimed the organisers of the Paris 2024 Olympics “are Jewish… and have put forward Satanic, Masonic and LGBTQ imagery”, with an image of the opening ceremony’s artistic director Thomas Joly.
“Dammit.” Garcia replied. It also contained anti-gay slurs.
The past few months have been tumultuous for Garcia.

He was headed into a highly anticipated bout with Devin Haney in April, but came in more than three pounds overweight, costing him the prize money and a chance to win Haney’s WBC lightweight title.
It was later announced before the fight that he had tested positive for the performance-enhancing drug Ostarine, and his thrilling upset victory over Haney, in which he knocked him down three times to win by majority decision, was declared a no contest.
In addition to his suspension, Garcia will also forfeit $1.2 million in prize money and be fined $10,000, according to ESPN.

Garcia was arrested in June for allegedly vandalizing the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills in Los Angeles and was indicted earlier this month on one misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property.
The WBC also banned Garcia earlier this month after he made racist comments on X-Space.
Garcia claimed to have gone to rehab for alcohol and drug abuse, but there is no evidence that he ever did so.
Garcia’s promotional company, Golden Boy Promotions, headed by boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, did not respond to a request for comment.
