Shania Twain announced in a new post that she’ll be appearing at another festival, and fans seem interested in her outfit choice.
The Canadian singer shared the news on Instagram alongside a photo of her wearing a long, see-through black dress onstage during her latest performance.
The post was to let fans know that she’ll be headlining Canada’s Cavendish Beach Music Festival next July, but the comments section was flooded with opinions about her look.

The purpose of the post was to let fans know that she will be headlining the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Canada next July.
“Let’s go @cavendishbeachmusic!! I’m the headliner on 7/10/2025,” she wrote in the caption.
“Oh, we’re going to have so much fun together,” the singer further teased.

In the first photo, Shania, 58, is seen showing off her slimmed-down figure in a revealing dress that features an off-the-shoulder design and a billowing skirt.
She appeared on stage with a microphone in one hand and an open-mouthed expression.
The “You Are Still the One” hitmaker completed her country-inspired look with a cowboy hat and knee-high boots.
Despite the exciting update, some followers were too focused on the photo, criticizing the country star in the comments section for “dressing inappropriately for her age.”
“This is ridiculous. That light jacket is too big for someone your age,” someone wrote.
Shania recently returned to the music industry after a hiatus due to her battle with Lyme disease, and has been showing off her slimmer physique.
However, the five-time Grammy winner has been criticized for her onstage outfit choices, which are seen as too revealing.

Earlier this month, Shania showed up to a festival in a see-through bodysuit and tights, infuriating some critics who said she should “put on some clothes.”
The singer wore an orange down jacket and black western hat while performing at Lytham Festival on July 4th.
She paired the look with a sheer black mosaic print bodysuit and tights.
While the country singer seemed confident in the outfit, fans slammed her for wearing “underwear” and for the outfit being too revealing.

Shania was married to music producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange.
2001
Shania and Matt welcomed their son, Eja, into their home. Shortly after Eja’s birth, they met Marie-Ann and Frédéric Thibault in Switzerland and became so close that Shania hired Marie-Ann to help run their home.
2008
Matt surprised Shania by asking for a divorce, so Shania asked Mary-Ann if she had noticed Matt’s odd behavior, to which Mary-Ann reassured Shania that nothing strange seemed to be going on.

In 2017, she told The Sun that her vocal cords had been affected for several years, leaving her unable to speak.
