We’ve been anticipating the arrival of spring for what feels like forever, and not just because it means (hopefully) sunny weather, but also because we can finally wear the spring/summer fashion trends that we first saw during the last fashion week back in September of last year.

But after wearing winter coats, oversized jumpers, and knee-high boots on repeat for the last six months, it’s suddenly hard to know where to start now that a new season has arrived, especially since there are so many trends surrounding RN. What about pairing a bomber jacket with loafers? How can you dress nude IRL but not on the red carpet? Are 3D florals still a big deal?

As it turns out, the answer may literally be written in the stars: James Justice, founder of streetwear brand Altory, analysed the SS24 runways and matched each horoscope sign with the new season trends that would best suit their personality traits.

Aries (March 21st to April 19th)

Passionate Aries are born trendsetters. Embrace the bold hues of spring’s hottest color trend, as seen on the runways of Valentino and Isabel Marant, with an eye-catching red statement piece. Awaken the pioneer within you by accentuating the color with a flowing crimson slip as a spring wedding guest dress and sophisticated crimson accessories.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus craves luxury and comfort, and the high-rise pant trend seen at Loewe, Moschino, and Louis Vuitton is the perfect combination of the two. There are so many ways to wear them, from the office to date night. Pair them with a button-down shirt for an elegant look, or throw on a cropped cardigan for a slightly cozier, yet still chic, look.

Gemini (May 21st to June 20th)

For playful and imaginative Gemini, there’s no better trend than maximalism. Embrace the more-is-more style seen at JW Anderson and Bottega Veneta, mixing prints, textures and exaggerated silhouettes. Try clashing patterns and mixing fabrics for a creative vibe perfect for standouts.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancers are sentimental and romantic, so bring out your softer side this spring with layers of sheer white from brands like Coperni, Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney and Acne. It’s a delicate look that exudes ethereal elegance.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

As an attention-grabber Leo, you’ll want to make a spectacular entrance in metallic pieces that reflect your radiant personality. Metallics aren’t just for Christmas – they were all over the SS24 runways at Schiaparelli, Rabanne, LaQuan Smith and Miu Miu. Team a silver midi skirt with an oversized graphic tee or steal the spotlight in head-to-toe sparkly pieces.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Virgos love efficiency and organization, so business chic is the ideal uniform for spring. Team an extremely oversized blazer with tailored trousers for an elegant and sophisticated look, à la Stella McCartney or Victoria Beckham. Or lean into your favorite celebs’ preferred business thrice look and go for a sexier look, like Givenchy’s leather and see-through twist on the classic skirt suit.

Libra (September 23rd – October 22nd)

Libras who love balance and harmony should try out polo shirts. The perfect blend of smart casual and effortless chic, polo shirts perfectly capture the preppy trend seen on the runways of Gucci, Miu Miu and The Row. Pair them with your favourite jeans for the ultimate cool-girl off-duty weekend look.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

The see-through separates trend seen at the likes of Prada, Erdem and Givenchy is perfect for mysterious Scorpios. Scorpios love a bit of curiosity, so incorporating sheer or transparent skirts into your spring wardrobe will add a subtle touch of seduction.

Sagittarius (November 22nd – December 21st)

Adventurous Sagittarius loves movement and freedom, so luxe sportswear is on trend. Copernicus, Balenciaga, and Gucci prove that athleisure isn’t just for workouts. The chic yet relaxed trend combines activewear, streetwear, and comfort-conscious accessories for an outfit that can effortlessly go from the gym to a girls’ night out without sacrificing style.

Capricorn (December 22nd – January 19th)

Capricorns are comfortable taking on responsibility and leadership roles, so get into the power dressing spirit with all things purple this spring. The color of royalty, power, and ambition was seen in every shade from lilac to magenta at the Acne, Issy Miyake, and Caroline Herrera shows. Whether you prefer soft pastels or eye-catching, vibrant neon hues, your dramatic style is sure to turn heads.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Unconventional Aquarius should make their own style statement with ultra-cool micro shorts, as seen at Gucci, Max Mara, and Hermes. Team them with an oversized leather jacket and cowboy boots for a Western-core edge that Beyoncé would approve of, plus extra coverage!

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

While the idea of incorporating florals into spring may not be groundbreaking (to quote The Devil Wears Prada), flowers were seen all over the SS24 shows. Simone Rocha used fresh roses among layers of tulle, while Alexander McQueen opted for XL-sized print motifs paired with sculptural silhouettes like oversized petals. No matter how you wear it, the trend is all about creating a dreamy, feminine look, perfect for a whimsical Pisces.
