With so many options, it’s always hard to decide which color to go for. So, I enlisted the help of some industry experts to find out what trends will be seen and where this year.
I reached out to Samantha Cusick, founder of Sta Studios and Samantha Cusick London, and Jordanna Cobella, 2023 London Hairstylist of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards and creative director of Cobella Salon, to find out what both experts shared what they think will be the biggest hair colour trends of 2024, and which one I’ll ultimately try. 1. Blonde Girl
First up, perhaps one of the most wearable and easy-to-maintain trends: say hello to lived-in blonde. “This year, I think we’ll see a ditching of the platinum blonde vibe that was all the rage in 2023 with the Barbie movies,” says Cusick. “In 2024, lived-in hues and darker roots will take over, providing an easy-to-maintain option for those looking to extend the time between salon visits.”
This really is an ideal choice for people who don’t want to get their roots done every few weeks but still want to add some brightness and dimension to their hair.
