Last year, the theorist’s fashion-savvy theory of arm style acquired the first creator of the fashion show, drawing over 4 million views on a catwalk featuring appearances from the looks of a spring/summer collection designed by key roles, ZHC, blogging, pop flex creator Cassey Ho, Yes Theory and more.
It was a new event for our industry. There, thousands of creators have made their careers out of passion for fashion, but have not had the opportunity to bring that passion onto the runway, either as designers or as models. As the theorist founder and former camera host Mattpat told us, the creators have won big spots in sectors like Food & Bev.
This is exactly what theorists plan to give it.

Creator Media Company (started with the flagship channel Game Theorist in 2009 and launched Film Theorist and Food Theorist before launching Style Theorist in 2023) will host the second annual creator at the fashion show at Vid Samut this year.
Vidsummit – a partner in tube filters – was born as a collection of most prominent professionals for creators who are likely focused on business development and nuts and bolts to create content. It will be held in Dallas from October 7-9, and the fashion show theorist creators will close the convention by taking over its main stage.
Tobias Hoss, operational SVP of Lunar X, owner of theorist, told Tubefilter “from a strategic perspective” that Fashion’s creators would be moved to Vidsummit, “because it’s aligned in terms of values.”
“Vidsummit is the state’s leading platform and event that celebrates greater entrepreneurship and demonstrates how creators can go beyond content and become business fans,” he says. “It coincides with our perspectives of celebrating creators as not only creators but as companies (small, medium, large companies), and with our mission to show that this is possible. We consider this event the perfect stage to make it bigger and bolder.”
Theorist founder and former host Mattpat will host Amy Roberts, the current host of style theory. Just like last year, fashion creators will feature looks and walks from many creators, including Cassey Ho, Mia Maples, Mary Allyson, Glam Girl Gabi, Esteffanie, and Sydney Morgan (and may be announced). This year’s event is tapping more creators from the catwalk. Roberts repeatedly conveys Hoss to Tubefilter the theorists’ goal: “aside from introducing all the creators who are doing amazing things in the fashion field, I can highlight as many creators as possible.”
That means taking people like Try Guys for the video segment, Stupendium as a guest in music, and Guest Spot’s Samantha Zazz (who is in the fashion space but hasn’t yet produced their own products) to the guest spots.
These creators “create cool things, do cool things adjacent to each other and match the wider audience of theorists because the people who attend the event love both their fashion and the creators involved, but theorists also love it,” says Roberts.
Just like last year, participating creators are on sale, so thanks to the technology of YouTube shopping, livestream viewers can buy clothes in real time, QVC style while the models walk.
Roberts says that things like sales are an opportunity not only for creators but also for fans. “When it comes to the live sale part of the event, this is something we are insanely proud of. Last year we pushed our YouTube shopping a lot. We want to do more this year. We can shop for what we see on the runway. “And that gives our audience the opportunity to really expand their vision to both the creators and the content.”
Hoss agrees, noting that major fashion events like New York Fashion Week are “very exclusive and very inaccessible.”
“We’re upside down at community-equipped events,” he says. “If you do, we have a passion without borders, and I think it’s very important these days. [Creators in Fashion] You can grow your reach across different channels beyond the participants there. Making it accessible to a much larger audience is the way we made it. ”
Details of this year’s show will be announced in the coming months.
