For many England fans last night [Sunday 14 July] The UEFA European Football Championship ended in a disappointing 2-1 victory for Spain, but rather than focus on England’s defeat on the pitch, let’s focus on the triumph in the stands: Trami Benson, who saved his best performance of the tournament for the final game.
For those who don’t know, Trami is the 23-year-old girlfriend of England and Arsenal midfielder Bukayo Saka, and is the internet’s newest It-girl leading the pack. She’s attended every England game, and her ultra-stylish take on athleisure chic has garnered as much attention as Ollie Watkins’ extra-time goal that gave England the win in the semi-final.
From creatively tucked football jerseys teamed with lara skirts and micro shorts to vintage-inspired leather jackets (with a subtle homage to her boyfriend Saka), WAGgery has brought a cool-girl edge to official England merchandise that we haven’t seen since the days of Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole. Looking back at Trami’s best stylish moments during the Euros, maybe this is an even better excuse to forget about football and focus on fashion?
During the final between England and Spain, Trami dazzled crowds in a custom corset designed by fashion designer and football enthusiast Hattie Crowther. The special design was made from a recycled Nike Euro 2020/2021 uniform, featuring the Three Lions crest and the word “England” stamped across the bodice. The design also featured Saka’s number 87, the shirt number he wore for Arsenal in the 2018/2019 season.
The number 87 also adorned her leather jacket. We’re getting some serious VB vibes from this look. Torami accessorized with her now-trademark black Prada sunglasses and a silver necklace with a B pendant, another nod to her beau. So cute.

Torami wore a cropped retro England jersey tied over high-waisted tailored shorts in one sporty ensemble. A high-low balance of athleisure and street style teamed with classic (often designer) pieces seems key to her style DNA, not to mention a fresh take on quintessential WAG style, as seen in the white Prada denim jacket she paired with an England cap.
Revealing that she doesn’t have a stylist at British Vogue, “just a very honest girls’ group chat”, we are officially naming Tolami our WAG of the year. She’s a true Euro winner and our official style icon. Now, how do you get into this group chat?
