WILMINGTON, Del. — The Tri-Point Regional Beauty Seasons competition kicks off in August with a host of exciting events for both participants and spectators. Preliminaries will be held at the following locations:
August 11: Townson, Maryland August 18: New Castle, Delaware August 25: Lancaster, Pennsylvania
The beauty event invites girls of all ages and boys up to age six to show off their talents and personalities in a variety of categories.
Competition Categories
Participants will compete in multiple segments:
Beauty/Evening Wear: Judging will focus on overall appearance, poise and personality. Personality in Sportswear: Contestants will appear in casual attire and will give a brief self-introduction. On-Stage Questions (ages 3 and up): Participants will answer questions posed by the moderator. Judging Criteria
Judges will evaluate contestants based on several factors.
Stage presence: confidence and ability to captivate the audience. Personality: expressiveness and dialogue. Attire: appropriateness and style of dress for different segments. Awards and recognition
The top winners in each age group and category will be awarded crowns, sashes, trophies and medals in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
