Val Venis has never made a fuss about his right-wing views, and his fight over pronouns has devolved into outright homophobic posts. Not only that, he’s been canceled multiple times, and recently fans tried to secure trademark rights to the expired Venis name, which has led to Venis now going on an insane rant.
Earlier this year, Val Venice launched a scathing attack on Rose, calling her a “Satan worshipper” for supporting transgender rights and urging her to stop promoting what Venice called a “mental disorder.”
Val Venis may lose the rights to his old name, as the trademark for “Val Venis” has expired. A Twitter user named HaangEmHigh noticed this and registered the name as his own. Now, WWE can decide whether or not to challenge this new trademark.
One idea to keep the name relevant is to sell merchandise with “Val Venis” written on it, like a sticker. Venis has also spoken out against the “demon-possessed followers” of HaangEmHigh, stating that he wants to be left alone.
The Twitter user is just getting started and has now launched a website called “Val Venis.com” that fully supports LGBTQ rights, especially transgender rights, and uses colors appropriate for transgender people, in order to move forward with the trademark process.
And that’s not all: They’re now teaming up with other Twitter users to sell custom stickers with the name “Val Venis” in transgender colors. Clearly a lot of consideration has gone into reserving the name for transgender rights.
Val Venice responded on Twitter to an attempt to trademark the expired name “Val Venice” in support of LGBTQ rights, questioning why someone would try to steal someone else’s business name, suggesting that such actions are born out of malice and hatred, which distorts judgment.
Venis said people who try to use government agencies to claim his business name are simply wasting their money, citing past experiences where WWE spent a lot of money trying to take his name but failed. He criticized a lack of understanding of case law, saying he has never lost a case in court. Venis concluded by saying he believes such actions reflect a failure of public education, and suggested that eventually lawyers will run out of their resources.
“Why would anyone want to take someone else’s business name? The only reason I can think of is pure malice. These people are driven by hatred and it clouds their judgement. They think they can use government agencies to take my business name. Let them waste their money, just like WWE wasted tens of thousands of dollars trying to take my business name. These people act as if common law doesn’t exist and forget that I have never lost in court. This is another example of a failure of public education. Pray for them and let their lawyers run out of money first…👇👇👇”
Val Venis once started rumors about The Pope being arrested. He also once claimed The Rock “sold his soul to the devil.” Either way, we’ll have to wait and see if Val Venis wins this trademark dispute after all.
