If you’re anything like me, getting changed into for date night involves dumping at least five outfits on your bedroom floor, sending countless photos to your girls’ group chat, and panicking at the front door just before you feel like you’re finally ready to leave the house. Sure, deciding what to wear can be a challenge at any time, but when you’re pregnant, finding clothes that fit your growing and changing body takes on a whole other level of difficulty.
Luckily, some of our favorite celebs are currently flaunting their pregnancy bellies and providing plenty of maternity style inspiration in the process, like Suki Waterhouse, who documented her unrealistic pregnancy style all the way up until giving birth to her baby with Robert Pattinson last month.
And so is Vanessa Hudgens, with the actress taking to Instagram just hours before the writing of this article to share the very stylish ensemble she wore for a night out with husband Cole Tucker.
In case you missed it, the actress symbolically revealed she was pregnant on the Oscars red carpet in March: Vanessa wore a form-fitting black gown to accentuate her growing belly, but then changed into a completely see-through Alberta Ferretti dress at the Vanity Fair afterparty, lest anyone suspect that it wasn’t a pregnancy belly.
Her latest look is proof of her continued obsession with maternity style. V wore a flattering yet ultra-chic chocolate brown off-the-shoulder maxi dress with a thigh-high slit. The dress is from maternity brand Bumpsuit. Featuring slits on both sides, the dress is made from soft, stretchy jersey knit fabric and is double-lined for a supportive fit.

Halle Bailey, who recently gave birth to her first child, a boy, added three heart emojis to the comments section of Vanessa’s Instagram post, underneath a photo of herself in the mirror. Fans also praised her look, with comments like, “You’re going to be the cutest mum ever š¤” and “You’re glowing mum.”
We couldn’t agree more. Congratulations again, Vanessa!
