TikTok users have been using 5Star’s song “Cmonnn (Hit It One Time)” to make playful videos in response to the “I’m Drinking Pepsi Fanta” trend.

Singing and dancing often ties into TikTok trends, like the “BBL Drizzy” trend, in which users poked fun at Drake by singing and dancing to Metro Boomin’s beats, and, of course, the Top 20 Dance Trends for 2024, which featured artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B.

As part of one of TikTok’s latest music trends, users have been using 5Star’s song “Cmonnn (Hit It One Time)” in their videos.

The song’s lyrics are, “I’m coming in to party, I’m drinking Pepsi. No, I’m drinking Fanta. I’m hyping it up, I’ve got fans outside of Atlanta (A-Line). No, I’ve got fans outside of Atlanta. Come on, let’s have a shot. Oh, Bree, she’s calling my line.”

The video usually features several people taking part in a fun trend in which TikTok users hand over bottles of Pepsi or Fanta whenever the soda is mentioned in the lyrics.

Not only are users dancing along to the song, some are even lip-syncing the lyrics.

TikTok user Paige shared her playful take on the trend, which has already garnered more than 11 million views.

In the video, she and a group of friends were dancing to “Cmonnn (Hit It One Time),” and when the lyrics “She callin’ my line” came up, someone was seen lip-syncing the lyrics into a cell phone.

TikTok user Jack took the trend a step further by creating a rave-like atmosphere for himself and his friends.

In his video, which has been viewed more than 23 million times, he and his friends race around the frame with two sodas.

The group of friends turned lights on and off during the lyric “We gettin’ lit,” and even used a bottle of soda as a makeshift phone.

While many viewers of the trend debated why some Fantas are lighter in color than others, most praised the high energy TikTok users put into their videos.
