The excitement is buzzing as the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show prepares to return this fall, with many familiar faces set to once again grace the runway, and everyone’s wondering if popular model Behati Prinsloo will be among them, having made her comeback after a six-year hiatus from the brand.
She made her comeback with other Victoria’s Secret veterans through the new Dream campaign. But will she also return to the runway? In a recent exclusive interview, Prinsloo hinted at her future plans. So let’s see if Prinsloo will return to the fashion show.
Behati Prinsloo’s exciting return
Namibian model Behati Prinsloo made a big splash when she returned to Victoria’s Secret after a six-year hiatus. On July 26, she shared a fun video from the Dream Angles campaign, commenting, “Shooting this Dream Angels campaign was amazing!!! 🪽 Beauty and comfort: a couple made in heaven 🫶.” In the video, Prinsloo is seen twirling around in a beautiful castle in gorgeous lace lingerie and a sparkly slip dress.
Her return has fans wondering if they’ll get to see her strut down the runway again. In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, she said, “We’ll have to wait and see.” But despite not confirming her participation, she did share some fond memories of the show. Prinsloo spoke about how much fun she always had at these runway shows.
10 Years of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Prinsloo has had an impressive career with Victoria’s Secret. She walked in 10 fashion shows between 2007 and 2018. Her performances ranged from New York to London and featured a variety of memorable outfits, most notably the show where she wore the iconic golden angel wings. Fans are buzzing with excitement over her return, and Prinsloo’s love for the brand and the fashion show is clear.
Exciting Changes at Victoria’s Secret
Victoria’s Secret has evolved and changed over the years, especially after the brand faced criticism for not being inclusive and canceled its fashion shows in 2019. But it returned last year with a revamped show called “The Tour,” which featured more diverse body types and familiar faces like Gigi Hadid and Naomi Campbell.
Many fans are nostalgic for the traditional elopement experience, and Behati acknowledged this longing: “I think a lot of people want to elope. [the runway] They want to come back and have something different.’” Prinsloo acknowledges that many fans would like to see elements of past shows with new twists.
Looking back on the show
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has a rich history, having run from 1995 to 2018, providing fans with countless memories of glamorous performances, musical entertainment, and of course, the iconic wings worn by the angels.
The brand announced the return of the fashion show, sharing it on Instagram, writing, “We’ve read the comments and listened to you! The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is ✨BACK✨ and will reflect who we are today plus everything you know and love: the glamour, the runway, the wings and music entertainment.”
An emotional reunion between Prinsloo and Brando
Prinsloo spoke of how emotional it was to return to the brand. After leaving the brand in 2018, she never thought she’d return, but when the opportunity arose, she was overwhelmed with joy. Prinsloo said she cried all day and was so overwhelmed with emotion.
Her husband, Adam Levine, encouraged her to take the plunge and return to modelling. He reminded her of the joy it had brought her. He said that life was short and modelling was an important part of her life. Levine pointed out that she hadn’t seen her friend Candice in a while and encouraged her to give it a go, saying she had nothing to lose. This was Prinsloo’s biggest motivation and she made a comeback with the brand.
The Dream Angles campaign is more than just a photoshoot. It represents the union of comfort and beauty. The new collection features bras made from soft lace material, offering both comfort and style. Stay tuned to PINKVILLA for the latest updates on this amazing runway show.
