Durban-born designer Jordan Titus Israel (20) has embarked on a new project, recreating some of the world’s most prestigious ‘red carpet’ outfits, making him nationally and internationally known. The costume was inspired by one of the five looks South African celebrity Bonang Matheba sported at last year’s Miss South Africa pageant grand finale.
Israel says: “The design and creation process was grueling. Over 50 hours, many back sprains, eye strain, hot glue burns, knife cuts, and sleepless nights, but in the end… It was worth it.”
